Psychic Chat Ratings tracks 12,940 individual chat reader profiles across the platforms we cover, and re-scores each one on a rolling basis as new session data comes in. This directory is the browsable front end of that dataset — filter by specialty, skill, tool, rating, price, or experience to find a reader who actually matches what you need, rather than whichever profile a platform chooses to push to the top of its own listings.

What’s actually in this directory

Every profile here comes from the platforms in our review index, not from submissions or paid placements. As of our latest pass, 6,422 of the 12,940 listed profiles carry a published rating from at least one completed session — the rest are newer readers who haven’t accumulated enough session data yet. Among the rated group, the average score is 4.4 out of 5 and the median is 4.75, which tells you something useful on its own: on these platforms, a rated reader who is still active tends to be a reasonably good one. The spread still matters, which is why we let you filter rather than just showing you the average.

Specialty, skill, and tool aren’t the same filter

These three filters answer three different questions, and mixing them up is the most common way people waste their free trial minutes on the wrong reader.

Specialty

What you want to talk about — love and relationships, career and money, life path, or connecting with someone who has passed. Our specialty list is the largest filter in the directory, running from broad categories like Love & Relationships (1,270 profiles) down to narrower ones like Tarot (627) or Mediumship.

Skill

The sensory approach a reader says they use to receive information, not the subject matter. This is a smaller, more specific list — clairvoyance, channeling, dream work, and remote viewing — and it’s useful when you already know how you like to work with a reader, not just what you want answered.

Tool

The physical or ritual aid a reader uses during a session — tarot or oracle cards, a pendulum, crystals, astrology charts. Two readers can share a specialty and a skill and still run a session completely differently depending on the tool they lean on.

The Tool filter runs on a different mechanism than the other two — it matches against the list of tools a reader has entered on their own profile, rather than a fixed taxonomy, so the exact wording can vary reader to reader even for a common tool like tarot or crystals.

The directory tells you who to consider; how you use those first few minutes with a reader determines whether the reading feels useful. A few habits make a measurable difference, based on the pattern we see across the reviews we analyze:

  1. Come in with a specific question rather than “tell me everything” — specificity gives the reader something concrete to respond to and gives you something concrete to evaluate afterward.
  2. Keep an open mind about the format of the answer. The most useful readings often reframe the question rather than answering it literally.
  3. Check the introductory offer before you start — most platforms give new users free minutes or a discounted first session, and it’s the lowest-risk way to judge a reader’s style.
  4. Read the profile and recent reviews first. A reader’s specialty, tools, and typical session length are usually listed, and they tell you more than a star rating alone.
  5. Notice whether the reader is offering unprompted detail or asking you to confirm things first — it’s the single clearest signal of reading quality across every specialty we track.

How we vet the directory

Every profile in this directory is tied to a real reader on a platform we’ve reviewed, not a listing we’ve been paid to include. Ratings are recalculated on a rolling basis as new session and review data comes in, and a profile with zero submitted ratings is shown as unrated rather than given a default score.

We also don’t remove a low-scoring profile just because it’s unflattering — if a reader is active and tagged correctly, their real numbers stay visible whether they land near the top of a category or well below it.

Where a listing links out to the platform hosting that reader, that link may be an affiliate link. It has no bearing on how a profile is scored or ranked.

How often is the directory updated?

Ratings recalculate on a rolling basis as new session data arrives, and the full dataset is re-checked on roughly a 30-day cycle.

What does it mean if a profile has no rating yet?

It means the reader hasn’t accumulated enough completed-session data on the platform for us to publish a score. We show these as unrated rather than guessing.

Can I combine specialty, skill, and tool filters at once?

Yes — the directory filters are additive, so you can narrow by specialty and skill and price range in the same search.

Does a higher price mean a better reading?

Not reliably. Price mostly reflects a reader’s experience tier and demand on their home platform, not a guarantee of accuracy. Use the rating and review count alongside price, not instead of it.

Why do so many profiles show no price at all?

Only 4,820 of the 12,940 profiles in the directory currently list a per-minute rate. The rest either haven’t published one, or price on a package or per-session basis their home platform doesn’t expose to us in a comparable format.
